At Vriksha Setu: The Green Billion Mission, we believe in the power of collective action to restore the planet’s green cover. Our initiative is designed to combat deforestation, land degradation, and climate change by planting 1 billion trees across the dry plains of India by 2050.
We focus on planting trees in deforested and arid regions where ecosystems have been significantly damaged, aiming to revive biodiversity and restore the natural balance. Through large-scale plantations, sustainable practices, and community involvement, we are creating long-term ecological and social impact.
Our approach combines innovation with accountability, ensuring each tree we plant is geo-tagged, individually fenced, and nurtured for 5 years to maximize survival rates.
